Position Summary:

It requires us to know their needs very well, and that’s where UX Design becomes a driving force. Joining us as a UX Design Intern means stepping into a welcoming environment where your curiosity and creativity will thrive. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the many facets of a design career, contribute to impactful Research Operations initiatives, and help champion design thinking across the organization. This internship is more than just a learning opportunity — it’s a launchpad. With the support of a dedicated mentor, collaboration with fellow designers, and exposure to industry experts, you’ll sharpen your skills, grow your confidence, and make meaningful contributions to Bentley’s mission of advancing the world’s infrastructure. Your Day-to-Day:
- Conduct internal research and contribute to Research Operations initiatives, translate findings into insights and workflow improvements.
- Contribute to and support documentation for Design and UX Research processes, templates, and guidelines.
- Take part in the Design Community of Practice activities.
- Collaborate with fellow designers, developers, product managers, and internal subject matter experts, contributing to daily design tasks.
- Learn about the specifics of different infrastructure software products through observing research activities.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Great problem-solving skills. Bonus points for a portfolio that demonstrates this.
- Basic familiarity with user research methods, tools, and techniques. A plus if you:
- … contributed to a workshop facilitation,
- … are familiar with design sprints methodology,
- …contributed to personas and journeys development.
- Basic familiarity with (AI-powered) design tools (Figma, Miro, research repositories and like).
- Endless curiosity and eagerness to learn while collaborating with the teams to understand the problem domain.
- You are an undergraduate in one of the following fields: HCI, UX Design, UX Research, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, Psychology, Journalism or equivalent.

Full-time salary of 1200 EUR before taxes.
