Location: Vilnius or Kaunas (Office-Based/Hybrid)

Position Summary:

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about modern C++ development and enjoys solving technically challenging problems. In this role, you'll help build cloud-connected services and applications that are relied upon by thousands of users worldwide.

You'll join a collaborative engineering team where developers are encouraged to contribute ideas, influence technical decisions, and take ownership of the solutions they build.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C++.
• Build and enhance cloud-connected services integrated with Bentley's platform.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful features.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a strong focus on quality.
• Work within an Agile development environment utilizing CI/CD practices.
• Investigate complex technical challenges and develop scalable, reliable solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience using C++.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• A collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Please note that if you are employed full-time, the salary for this position ranges from 4000 EUR gross (before taxes, Lithuania), depending on knowledge and experience.
