The role:
We’re looking for passionate Software Engineer who are excited to dive into engineering at Galileo and help us build our products. On our team, you’ll be at the heart of it all – implementing new features, fixing bugs, testing and deploying, monitoring and supporting mission-critical systems, and continuously growing as an engineer. You’ll tackle a wide range of challenges – technical, product-related, and operational – shaping your personal growth and career along the way.
What you’ll do:
- Be an integral part the development and testing of our systems and services
- Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions
- Implement and support highly available and scalable services in a production environment that impacts millions of individuals
- Generate ideas for process improvement, initiatives, and new technologies
- Communicate and collaborate with project leads, product managers and other software developers
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Javascript (ideally Node.js)
- Advanced Level of English (Mandatory)
- Some exposure to databases and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and get stuff done
