The role:
The Loan Setup Analyst III will use shared inboxes and pipelines to support the internal loan team through the management of the appraisal order as well as receiving early-stage FHA and VA documents. The team member will also ensure SoFi is staying within compliance regarding TILA/RESPA disclosure laws.
What you’ll do:
- Enforce Lock Desk policy (Loan Setup is under the Lock Desk umbrella)
- Assist the company’s internal partners with loan re-disclosure, FHA/VA case number transfers, credit card refund/charge requests, MAVENT fails, and file escalations
- Work the assigned pipelines for quick file milestone movement
- Contact FHA and VA to process applicable underwriting conditions associated with the loan file
- Monitor various shared email in-boxes and perform work within SLA to include appraisal orders, disclosing to borrowers, advertising loans, etc.
- Ensure the accuracy of fees for outbound disclosures
- Review pass/fail logic on applicable files to ensure compliance accuracy
- Monitor robotics outcome reports and scrub loans that fail, to queue back up for automation or work manually
What you’ll need:
- A four-year college business degree or other related field is preferred
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working under a high level of confidentiality
- Able to work an assigned pipeline of FHA/VA loan products
- Detail-oriented and strong time management/ organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in either the Charlotte, NC or Frisco, TX office. The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with overtime available based on business volume.
