As an Accountant you will be responsible for for all aspects of general accounting: data analysis, journal entry preparation, general ledger reconciliation, and monthly financial reporting.
What you will be doing:
Become the main Accounting point of contact for Epicor’s recurring revenue module and activity.
Focus on areas such as cash, fixed assets, deferred balances and prepaids
Ensure a thorough understanding of the underlying processes and inputs.
Be self-sufficient at obtaining data from our reporting tools and using this information to review assigned areas.
Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
Responsible for the data entry of accounts payable invoices/accounts receivable invoices
Assist with annual audit completion
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, which includes identifying and researching variances.
What you will likely bring:
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere as well as independently
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Desire and commitment to working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Qualifications
3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
High school diploma
