Principal Product Developer | Identity Provider

- Architect and evolve core identity components, including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, MFA, and user provisioning
- Lead cross-functional design sessions focused on identity lifecycle, secure token handling, and external IdP integrations
- Design and implement scalable identity services supporting millions of users across diverse environments
- Ensure adherence to modern identity standards and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and SOC2
- Deliver secure, high-impact software through expert-level coding, refactoring, and quality assurance practices
- Drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, and deep code reviews with a focus on secure coding and maintainability
- Resolve complex identity-related bugs and production issues, ensuring root cause analysis and sustained resolution
- 10+ years’ experience in software development with demonstrated success in identity engineering
- 8+ years’ experience in .NET (C#) or other modern object-oriented languages such as JavaScript or Python
- 5+ years’ specialized experience in identity platforms or IAM
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise in large-scale systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, and performance optimization
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Azure AD, LDAP, or other external identity directories
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IAC) scripting and automation
- Proven ability to mentor developers and evangelize identity best practices internally and externally

Range:
Minimum: $90,000 USD Maximum: $250,000 USDThe salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation.
