Front End Developer
Come join and help a talented group of developers creating the next generation UI platform of Epicor; you will actively participate in building a framework and implementing features for developers as well as end users; you will collaborate with architects and user experience experts in order to build modern libraries and fresh UI. We are looking for a front end developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Candidates must be able to work independently, open to challenges, have solid development skills, a commitment to quality, a passion for building highly usable applications, and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly.
What you will be doing
Analyze and implement detailed design specifications, providing feedback and performing required development tasks.
Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and maintainable code using modern front-end technologies.
Follow established coding standards and best practices for maintainability and performance.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to define and refine requirements.
Communicate with quality assurance to validate deliverables and ensure feature quality.
Maintain and enhance existing codebases, identifying areas for improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
May assist in writing or updating internal documentation and setup scripts.
What you likely Bring
Solid understanding of web standards and technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
Experience with one or more modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to debug and troubleshoot browser-based issues.
Understanding of responsive and cross-browser design principles.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks.
What could set you apart
2+ years of applicable front-end development experience and demonstrated success.
1+ years working with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (Angular, React, or Vue preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with CSS pre-processors (SASS or LESS) preferred.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or build tools (Webpack, NPM) is advantageous.
