The Professional Services Sales Architect, Sr forms a key part of our sales team, supporting the sale of our software and consulting services.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to our sales teams, prospects and customers. They will have the ability to design and articulate quality implementation solutions whether to an Enterprise customer or SMB.

In conjunction with the sales team, the PSSA will work alongside the Sales team to provide accurate scoping, taking into account:

  • Project approach – including phasing and exclusions.

  • Project scale.

  • Epicor software offerings.

  • Industry Best practices:

  • In ERP;

  • In the Customer industry vertical and sub-vertical best practices (Manufacturing/Distribution).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support sales teams by proactively engaging in the sales process including written and presented work.

  • Accurately assess customer needs and abilities.

  • Assist with prospect discovery sessions, demos and planning meetings.

  • Prepare and provide requirements definition or estimates for quoting implementations.

  • Ensure a full and proper handoff of contracts from sales process to implementation process.

  • Drive consulting sales pipeline, meeting or exceed annual sales targets.

  • Participate and attend User Group and customer functions to reinforce customer rapport; such as product demos, value add workshops and customer events.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Confident and experienced negotiator able to forecast and drive revenue.

  • Sales skills including a proven ability to close new business.

  • Relevant experience at one or more of the ERP, Manufacturing or Distribution industries either in a sales, or solution delivery capacity.

  • Detail driven with excellent presentation skills.

  • Love for problem solving and connecting customers with solutions.

  • Ambitious and driven personality with a hunger for success

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at every level, customer or internal.

  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize competing requests

  • Up to 50% travel

Qualifications

One or more of each of the following

8+ years experience of:

  • ERP implementations from SMB to Enterprise

  • or ERP Professional Services or Consulting services sales

  • or Consulting experience and demonstrated success/knowledge in ERP, Manufacturing or Distribution industries

  • Demonstration of ongoing technical certifications to keep up with industry
