The Job:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Cash Application Intern to join our Treasury team. In this role, you will support the timely and accurate application of customer payments while gaining hands-on experience in financial operations within a corporate environment. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn, organized, and interested in developing a career in Finance.
What you will be doing:
Assist in applying customer payments to the correct invoices in the system.
Research and resolve unapplied cash items by collaborating with internal teams and customers.
Support in identifying and correcting billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of payment applications and adjustments.
Prepare and update reports related to unapplied cash and payment status.
Communicate with internal teams regarding payment issues and follow-ups.
What you will likely bring:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with at least 1 year remaining until graduation.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
What could set you apart:
Basic understanding of accounting principles or accounts receivable processes.
Experience working with financial systems or ERP platforms.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Active university enrollment (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field).
Advanced English proficiency.
Mexican Registro Federal de Contribuyentes (RFC) required.
