As a Senior Accounting Application Specialist, you will support BisTrack ERP and Microsoft Dynamics GP users, diagnosing and resolving finance-related software issues. What you will be doing:
- Investigate and document accounting application support cases, gathering information to resolve or escalate issues.
- Troubleshoot client-server software application issues, including Microsoft SQL and web servers.
- Conduct root cause analysis of errors in customers’ business environments.
- Liaise between support, development, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless issue resolution.
- Communicate case updates clearly and professionally to customers by phone and email.
- Stay up-to-date with software updates to provide timely and accurate solutions.
- Develop and refine processes to track and triage issues, recommending improvements.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge base articles and FAQs.
- Specialize in key areas of the software, including third-party packages.
- Attend Epicor’s US-based user conferences as needed.
What you will likely bring:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- 2+ years of specialized industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
- Experience with US Payroll and/or Fixed Assets (preferred).
- Ability to investigate reconciliation issues between subledgers and General Ledgers.
- Experience with inventory management, production processing, and purchasing management.
- Strong troubleshooting, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a high-volume support environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mentorship and training abilities.
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Ability to learn new technologies and industries quickly.

Range:
Minimum: 71,000 CAD Maximum: 114,000 CADThe salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation.
