What You Will Be Doing
The majority of the functions will be technically oriented, mainly, building reports.
Technical Delivery
Define, document, and validate implementation requirements related to label templates, printer configurations, data sources, and reporting structures.
Provide advanced technical guidance to field engineers and support teams for diagnosing and resolving issues with BarTender, SSRS, related database systems, and printing hardware.
Configure, test, and document BarTender label files, integration scripts, print automation workflows, and SSRS reports according to project needs.
Troubleshoot complex issues across software, servers, networks, and printer ecosystems to ensure stable, predictable label output and reporting performance.
Customer Engagement
Build strong relationships with customers to gain a deep understanding of their labeling, printing, and reporting environments.
Translate customer business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for BarTender label design, print automation, and SSRS reports.
Customer Success & Support
Monitor customer adoption and usage of BarTender, SSRS, and related solution components, proactively identifying optimization opportunities.
Act as a customer advocate for escalated issues, coordinating with project managers, engineering teams, and product leadership to drive timely resolution.
Support end‑users through training, documentation, and ongoing best‑practice guidance.
Project Execution
Meet utilization targets and deliver assigned project tasks on time with strong attention to detail.
Lead technical improvements and solution enhancements on large or complex engagements, ensuring scalability and alignment with customer environments.
What You Likely Bring:
Proficiency in SSRS, SQL data querying, and report configuration/deployment.
Expertise in BarTender (label design, data integration, automation, Print Portal, and system architecture)
Experience with SQL and C#
Excellent troubleshooting skills across software, printers, databases, and network environments.
Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills, including remote/virtual sessions.
Data‑driven approach with strong process discipline and documentation skills.
Open to travel up to 25% for customer projects, onsite workshops, and technical deployment.
