The Job
The Senior HR Technology Analyst serves as a technical point of contact to provide product and subject matter expertise in areas of implementation, testing, data integrity, integrations, report writing and data flow analysis with respect to all Human Resources and related/integrated applications.
What you will be doing
Serve as the technical lead for Workday Payroll
Configure business processes, calculated fields, and reporting
Troubleshoot payroll issues and support integrations
Build and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards
Ensure data accuracy across payroll, absence, and time tracking
Support Workday releases, testing, and system enhancements
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and solutions
Validate payroll-related system outputs and resolve configuration and data issues.
Partner directly with Payroll stakeholders to design scalable, sustainable solutions that ensure operational continuity.
Support and troubleshoot payroll integrations.
Configure and enhance Workday modules with emphasis on Payroll, Absence, and Time Off.
Maintain business process frameworks, condition rules, and security roles aligned to enterprise data governance standards.
Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex Workday technical issues.
What you likely bring
5+ years of Workday technical experience with specifically with Payroll
Strong expertise in Workday Reporting (calculated fields, dashboards, composite reports)
Solid understanding of Workday data structure, security, and business processes
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret, reconcile, and validate complex HR and payroll datasets.
Experience supporting complex reporting and stakeholder needs
Agility to adapt to change and ever-learning attitude
Strong understanding of Workday security framework and business process configuration.
Experience supporting executive-level reporting environments.
What could set you apart
Experience with Absence, Time Tracking, or Workday Learning
Experience with integrations or automation/AI in HR systems
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, HR Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
