Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, from initiation through to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Drive successful delivery of complex, enterprise-scale programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Provide leadership, direction, and hands-on support to project teams, fostering accountability and high performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships through clear communication, transparency, and proactive issue resolution.
- Manage project governance, including planning, risk management, resource allocation, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ensure alignment with PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement across the function.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent “One Team” experience for customers.
- Identify risks and challenges early, implementing mitigation strategies and maintaining project momentum.
- Mentor and support other project managers where appropriate, contributing to a lively, collaborative, and mutually supportive PMO culture.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience delivering multiple ERP implementations (essential).
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence, motivate, and align diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, including senior executives.
- High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage conflict, build trust, and navigate complex client environments.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills across all aspects of project delivery (plans, RAID logs, governance).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience delivering complex ERP implementation projects
- Extensive experience in project/program management with a consistent record of successful delivery
- Industry experience relevant to ERP implementations (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
Additional Requirements
- Candidate, with appropriate work permit, will need to be based in one of the following countries: UK or Finland
- Willingness to travel (up to ~25%) depending on project needs
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a highly collaborative PMO team
