Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using modern full-stack technologies.
  • Build responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular and/or React.
  • Develop robust backend services using Java and .NET technologies.
  • Analyze, enhance, and maintain legacy applications while ensuring business continuity.
  • Participate in modernization initiatives, including refactoring and migrating legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.
  • Solve complex functional and technical problems with scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Cloud Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications in cloud environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills

  • 5 to 8 years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java and/or .NET application development.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and modern application architecture.
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Git-based source control and CI/CD practices.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.

Legacy Modernization

  • Willingness and ability to work with legacy technologies and enterprise applications.
  • Experience analyzing, enhancing, and modernizing existing systems.
  • Ability to understand complex business logic and translate it into scalable modern solutions.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Understanding of cloud-native application design principles.
  • Familiarity with containers (Docker), Kubernetes/OpenShift is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Cloud Operations, including:
    • Application monitoring and observability
    • Logging and diagnostics
    • Performance monitoring
    • Incident troubleshooting
    • Infrastructure fundamentals

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Experience with enterprise ERP or large-scale business applications.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
