The Monarx team offers hosting providers the #1 most effective security solution in the world. As an Account Executive, you will aggressively add new opportunities to the funnel, close new deals, and consult hosters on how to protect from threats and monetize the Monarx cyber security platform within their ecosystem. You will also be responsible for building and implementing repeatable systems and processes to drive predictable revenue for Hosters of all size.

What you’ll do:

  • You will primarily be a hunter. That is, identifying, prospecting and closing hosting service providers that need to solve cybersecurity problems.

  • Continuously grow the sales pipeline and funnel. Yes, that includes cold prospecting new partners to generate sales qualified leads.

  • Create systems and processes to optimize and accelerate sales cycles with all sizes of prospects.

  • Develop and present business plans/models/feature and benefits of the Monarx platform.

  • Manage a global pipeline. Some international travel and calls late and early will be required.

  • Managing legal contracts and execution of them with partners.

  • Providing ongoing resources for new and existing partners.

  • Identifying resources or improvements to reduce Hoster launch time and time to revenue.

  • Work with Customer Success to build and managing relationships across accounts to uncover and close expansion opportunities.

  • Work with Engineering & Product to sell and optimize new opportunities and existing customer interactions alike.

  • Religiously updating HubSpot (our CRM) because analytics rule!

  • Creating development plans, forecasting, sales targets and growth projections.

  • Preparing clear, executive-level presentations for internal and external senior executives highlighting trends, adoption, and growth.

  • Representing our company as a domain and product expert in customer interactions, industry events, and online.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is “boardroom ready.” This means you have excellent communication skills and can apply them to all seniority levels within an organization.

  • Must have a consultative sales approach and be a strong persuader and influencer.

  • Is a self-starter. We are a startup and all wear many hats. Of course, we will help guide and train you, but you must be willing to problems solve and tackle things head-on.

  • Excels at building and managing relationships with executive-level stakeholders and key decision makers alike.

  • Has experience creating, implementing, and executing repeatable systems and processes to accelerate time-to-close.

  • Has 7+ years of experience as a top performer in SaaS Sales or a related field.

  • Loves to communicate technical concepts to varying levels of audiences.

  • Must be able to adapt and be willing/able to learn a very technical product in an equally technical space.

  • Are good with a flexible work schedule that can sometimes require international hours for meetings, pitches, and general business.

Ideal candidates:

  • Can prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure. You also like to analyze information, make connections, and demonstrate deep-level thinking

  • Have cyber security and or hosting industry experience

  • Are competent with tools like Slack, HubSpot (or other CRM software), presentation software, and spreadsheet software
