Compliance and security are at the core of everything we do. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a hands-on, experienced SaaS administrator to expand our IT operations team.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SaaS Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our growing ecosystem of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, networking, identity management, and compliance, with a proactive approach to automation and governance. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our organization’s SaaS tooling.
Key Responsibilities
SaaS Platform Administration
- Manage, configure, and optimize SaaS applications and integrations across the organization.
- Major systems include Google Workspace, Mimecast, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence), and Gitlab.
- Implement and maintain automation for provisioning, access management, and lifecycle processes.
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Administer and support AWS, with exposure to Azure and GCP environments.
- Services: IAM Identity Center, AWS Workspaces/Managed AD/Systems Manager, VPC, EC2, S3, Route53, Lambda, Organizations, Control Tower
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency across cloud services.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to enforce cloud governance and security policies.
- Networking & Security
- Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls and Meraki networking devices used in offices and cloud networks, as well as Netskope’s SASE solution.
- Refine and review restricted firewall rules for optimal security.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance.
- Support physical access control systems and their integration with identity governance
- Identity & Access Management
- Administer Okta for identity governance, SSO, and MFA.
- Configure SAML and SCIM for supported SaaS systems to Okta.
- Develop and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) policies.
- Support audit and compliance requirements for identity lifecycle management using SailPoint’s IdentityNow/Identity Security Cloud.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to PCI DSS and SOC 1 & 2 compliance frameworks.
- Configure and maintain documentation, audit trails, and evidence for regulatory compliance.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to implement and validate required controls.
- Automation & Scripting
- Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline SaaS and infrastructure management.
- Leverage APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, and scripting such as Python for efficiency.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Okta administration and identity governance principles.
- Experience managing SaaS systems’ configuration and usage.
- Expertise in AWS cloud services; exposure to Azure and GCP a plus.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls).
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Meraki solutions, and experience with supporting a VPN solution (Netskope or other systems like ZScaler, Prisma Access/GlobalProtect, AnyConnect)
- Familiarity with PCI DSS and SOC 1 & 2 compliance requirements.
- Experience with automation tools, scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of physical access control systems and integration with identity platforms.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as a SaaS, Cloud, or Systems Administrator.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Palo Alto PCNSE, Okta Certified Professional, optional - CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CISM)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and security-first mindset
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Base salary is $72,000- 107,000 annually. Individual pay is based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and other job-related reasons.
