What You'll Do
- Design, build, and optimize sophisticated search campaigns. You are responsible for the day-to-day health of the account, ensuring budget is deployed effectively to hit monthly CPA and volume targets (a core business OKR).
- Translate high-level business goals into specific tactics. You will define the keyword strategy, bid adjustments, and audience segmentation required to meet growth objectives.
- Lead the testing roadmap. You will design and execute A/B tests for ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies to continuously improve conversion rates.
- Maximize quality and utility of conversion signals. You will partner with the Paid Media Analyst to optimize data supporting conversion-based and value-based campaigns.
- Full-funnel performance measurement. You will analyze end-to-end performance of paid search traffic to identify trends, diagnose performance dips, and uncover opportunities for scale.
- Maintain a pulse on the changing search landscape. You will be an internal voice on AI-driven search ads landscape, as it becomes publicly available in 2026.
- 30 days: You have conducted a deep audit of the existing Google Ads account structure and attribution setup. You have identified immediate areas of wasted spend and have taken over day-to-day bidding and budget management.
- 60 days: You have launched a structured testing roadmap for ad copy and landing pages. You have partnered with Data and Product teams to audit our conversion signals, ensuring our feedback loops are clean and privacy-compliant.
- 90 days: You have successfully taken over performance forecasting and monthly budget planning, allowing the Director of Performance Marketing to predict cost and volume with high accuracy.
- 5+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience with a track record of scaling performance accounts.
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of independence. You can identify problems, formulate solutions, and execute fixes without needing frequent input.
- Proficiency in Looker and Amplitude is required. You understand how to leverage event-based analytics to inform paid media decisions.
- Excel/Sheets: Advanced proficiency required.
- You have a working knowledge of AEO/GEO concepts and a curiosity about how the demand capture landscape is shifting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
