Who we are looking for:
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll lead design for key product areas across Suralink’s platform. You’ll partner closely with product management, engineering, customer success, and customers to translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant user experiences.
You’ll drive end-to-end design, from discovery and problem definition, through polished execution while contributing to a healthy design culture and elevating craft across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design for major product areas, turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences.
- Explore solutions, validate assumptions, and use insight to guide clear, effective designs.
User Research & Customer Understanding
- Conduct or support interviews, usability tests, and feedback sessions.
- Translate findings into actionable improvements that strengthen the user experience.
Execution, Craft, & Collaboration
- Partner closely with engineering and product from scoping through delivery.
- Communicate design rationale clearly and ensure high-quality implementation.
Design Systems & Consistency
- Use and contribute to Suralink’s design system to maintain consistency and scalability.
- Evolve components, patterns, and documentation as product needs grow.
Agency, Ownership & Critical Thinking
- Operate with autonomy, driving clarity and momentum through ambiguity.
- Challenge assumptions, simplify complexity, and align stakeholders around the best solution.
Experience and Professional Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience designing for complex SaaS products.
- Proven experience designing AI or data-driven features (or a strong interest in LLM-enabled interfaces).
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, variants, variables, libraries, tokens).
- Strong portfolio showing systems thinking and ability to ship elegant, cohesive experiences.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product leadership to shape roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and commitment to inclusive design.
Preferred experience and qualifications
- Experience with prompt-based interaction design or conversational UI.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks, design tokens, or semantic versioning.
- Previous work in accounting, fintech, or compliance-driven B2B SaaS.
- Interest in emerging technologies and how they influence user experience.
